** About / Why register **

Welcome to Bob's Chess Trivia!
I hope you'll have fun and, maybe, learn something new and amusing about our wonderful game.
This game comes as a shareware with a database of 50 questions on chess history, anecdotes and
famous players. You are free to try the game for a few days and then, if you find it enjoyable,
I'd really appreciate if you'll register it.
Registration is $9.00 only and can be done securely online through PayPal from my homepage:

http://radillon.tripod.com/games.html

By registering, you will:

* Get an expanded quiz database containing more than 100 questions.
* Get any eventual program update/new database I'd make in future for free
* If you are an aspiring programmer, you can request me the game C source code which you'd freely
  adapt for your own projects
* Encourage me in developing further games while keeping the shareware software industry alive! :)

** Instructions **

Once the program has been launched, to start a game press "S".
You can exit the program at any time by pressing "Esc".
During the game you will be asked 30 chess related questions of various nature and difficulty,
randomly chosen from the available database (the unregistered version comes with 50 questions, once
registered you'll get a bigger one with more than 100 questions).
The difficulty level is expressed by an Elo rating and, depending on your answer, your Elo will
change accordingly.
The aim of the game is to get the highest possible rating and, eventually, the Grand Master
of Chess Knowledge title which is going to be awarded when you reach an Elo rating of 2600.
Other titles will be awarded earlier: at 2200 the title of Master while at 2400 the International Master
of Chess Knowledge will be assigned.
